How far to sand? It is very important to block everything flat with 80 or 100 grit when sanding polyester primer. Don't leave anything to finish with the next grit. Anything finer isn't sharp enough to cut the polyester flat. You will end up with 'fatty' paint you can't get flat. This is important!!
