One of the best ways to get really nice and straight and crisp body lines is to pull a tape line, and sand up to it.
Here’s a couple tips to do it.
♦️Quality tape works much better, it stays straight and doesn’t stretch out a whole lot.
♦️Have a clean surface.
♦️Start on one end, and press down an inch or two of tape really good. Then pull the tape out as long as it needs to be.
♦️♦️ Pull it just about as tight as you can. Gradually press it down on the car. Pulling the tape really tight is the key 🔑 to getting straight lines.
