Thin panel edges. Use pieces of aluminum flat stock or c-channel (depends on how much shape is in the car) to span across panels. On this Camaro, I went from the front half of the fender all the way past the door, and just onto the quarter panel. Move your panel edges out to meet the aluminum. You'll have a nice straight car and thin edges!
